Event earth history...on one view. The Bletterbach was elected together with the Dolomites on the 26th Juni 2009 because of its unique nature, landscape and beauty as well as for its scientifical meaning in Geology and Geomorphology to world nature inharitance by the UNESCO.
The approach to the GEOPARC Bletterbach is from Auer or Neumarkt via Montan to Aldein. In Aldein, about 1km after the village centre, turn right into the district of Lerch in the direction of Bletterbach and drive to the car park at the visitor centre.
The parking lot is located right in front of the visitor centre, from here also the GEOWeg and the forest educational trail start.
