During the Advent season, the Christmas market in Laives serves as a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. On Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesday, 8 December, local associations, artisans, and hobbyists bring the wooden huts in Piazza Municipio Square to life, accompanied by atmospheric music from regional performers. In the village centre, visitors can also admire a living nativity scene at the parish church, as well as an exhibition of nativity scenes and a nativity trail featuring artworks of all sizes. On 5 December, children can look forward to a special visit from Saint Nicholas.
